Big, Little Pizza Fan

She’s a prolific reader and one who has a similar taste in literature to me. I admire
almost universally her acting and production work. She is a vocal proponent of equity within the entertainment industry and a champion of it through her production company. She also has great taste in pizza.
On Sunday, Reese posted a story on
her Instagram naming The Cow as one of her five favourite pizza places. Oooo,
crikey, she has 16.4m followers! That’s not as many as Justin Bieber’s 104m but
a lot more than Chef Malcolm’s 164. Presumably they are the usual mix of family,
friends, fans, movie buffs, bibliophiles, stalkers, sycophants and people who
thought she was someone else. And probably a healthy smattering of pizza
eaters.
Like many local establishments, we often have celebrities at The Cow. We like to protect their privacy… and we often don’t recognise them. Chef Malcolm, who is a fan of documentaries, said if he was working the day Reese came in he wouldn’t have known her if she’d clipped him around the ear him and declared ‘I will not walk the line with you, Johnny Cash!’, in her distinctive southern drawl.
So thanks for the shout out, Reese. You are most welcome at The Cow anytime. In addition to having great food we approve of graffiti, use of the shot-ski and dancing on the tables. Oh, and because we believe in paying it forward (or back, in this case), we’re going to give a shout out to Big, Little Lies – so, so good (sequel due soon).
